ADMISSION INFORMATION
The
faculty and staff of Saint Ann are committed to
providing a quality Catholic education. Schools in
the Diocese of Venice admit students of any race,
color, sex, national or ethnic origin to all the
rights, privileges, programs and activities
generally accorded or made available to students at
the schools.
Students are selected for enrollment based on the
following priority:
1.
Current students
2. Siblings of students currently enrolled at
the school.
3. Families who are registered and are active
parishioners of Saint Ann
Parish.
4. Families who are registered and are active
parishioners of other
neighboring Catholic parishes.
5. All other families
Additional factors that are weighed in the
admissions process include the order applications
are received, previous academic, disciplinary and
service records, placement exam performance and
whether relatives of the student are alumni of Saint
Ann. However, applying for financial aid has no
bearing on admission decisions nor does the promise
of a financial contribution to the school. Students
accepted to Saint Ann
are subject to a probationary period during which
time the student will be evaluated to determine his
or her compatibility with the school. The school
reserves the right to accept those students whose
needs can be met within our existing educational
program. Admission to the Middle School will not be
considered after the close of the first semester in
December 2010.
