SCHOLARSHIPS & TUITION ASSISTANCE

Saint Ann School makes a serious effort to ensure that tuition for a Catholic education is affordable by making available scholarship and tuition assistance for parents who wish to educate their children in a Catholic environment. Below is a list of opportunities for both need based and merit based scholarships.

Need based scholarships:

  1. St. Ann School Foundation offers two scholarship opportunities:
        A. First time students entering St. Ann School at any grade level.
        B. Returning students who will be attending Pre-K4 through 8th grade.
     

  2. The Margo S. Homan Scholarship is available to a female student attending grade 4-8 at St. Ann School.

  3. Kremer Foundation Scholarship is available to students attending kindergarten through 8th grade.

  4. James C. Berry Memorial Scholarship is available to students attending Pre-K3 through 8th grade.

  5. St. Ann Parish Scholarship is available to students of registered family parishioners at St. Ann Church.

  6. Father T.J. Goggin Education Foundation offers scholarships to students attending St. Ann School.

  7. St. Vincent de Paul Society Scholarships are advertised in the church bulletin and require application directly to the Society.

  8. STEP UP FOR STUDENTS is a state funded program for students entering kindergarten through twelfth grade. Students entering grades 2-12 must have attended a Florida public school for an entire year prior to applying. Parents apply through the state.   9. McKay Scholarship is a state funded program to students with special needs who are transferring from a Florida public school. Parents apply through the state. Information is available at www.floridaschoolchooice.org

Merit based:

  1. Merit Scholarships are available for two 7th grade students continuing to eighth grade at St. Ann School in the amount of $3500 and $1500. There will be four $5000 scholarships awarded to 8th grade students continuing to St. John Neumann High School. Academics, service hours and an essay are required for consideration.

  2. Sister George Francis Riseling Student Athlete Scholarship is awarded annually by St. Ann School Booster Club to one current 7th grade male student and one current 7th grade female student in the amount of $1000 each. Students must participate in more than one sport at the school, maintain an 86% grade average for the year and write an essay on a topic.
