MRS. CARI MANEEN
THIRD GRADE TEACHER
Mrs. Cari Maneen is joining Saint Ann as a 3rd-grade teacher. She grew up in a small town in upstate New York and, after college, relocated to Florida and then to North Carolina. She is a mother of two and will be celebrating 34 years of marriage in August. Her son is getting married next May, and she is grateful to welcome his fiancée into the family. Â
Mrs. Maneen says that education has always been a passion of hers and that she knew she wanted to be a teacher from an early age. She spent 25 years in various positions, including preK teacher and director, elementary and middle school teacher, instructional coach, and principal. Her favorite position is that of a teacher. Mrs. Maneen earned her BS Degree in elementary and middle grades education from Cortland State University, her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Carolina University, and her Doctorate Degree in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. She holds a National Board Teaching certification, as well as an add-on license in School Administration.Â
Outside of school, Mrs. Maneen enjoys traveling, decorating, reading mysteries, and spending time with her family. Â
She is excited to join the team at Saint Ann and become a part of the school family.
