MRS. CARYN SYLVESTRE
THIRD GRADE TEACHER
Mrs. Caryn Sylvestre is joining Saint Ann as a 3rd grade teacher. Originally from Rhode Island, Mrs. Sylvestre spent her formative years immersed in Catholic education, attending private Catholic school from kindergarten through college. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Assumption University in 1999 and began her career teaching preschool, later transitioning to kindergarten at St. Mary's School.Â
Six years ago, she and her husband relocated to Florida with their three children. Since then, she has continued to build on her more than 20 years of teaching experience, teaching both kindergarten and second grade, and most recently serving in an administrative role at her school. She is certified in PreK–3, holds an Apple Education certification, and was honored as a New American Hero Teacher of Distinction in 2021.Â
Now proud to call Saint Ann her new school family, she brings with her a passion for early childhood education, a deep-rooted faith background, and a commitment to nurturing young learners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three teenage children.
