ACCREDITATION

Saint Ann Catholic School is proud to be accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC), a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation. The Florida Catholic Conference Accreditation Program is one of the oldest and most well respected Catholic accrediting programs in the country. Every seven years, each school in the Diocese of Venice is reaccredited through the FCC to ensure schools continue to meet the highest standards for Catholic educational excellence. Each school participates in a continuous school improvement process involving input from
all stakeholders culminating in reaccreditation. Saint Ann School was reaccredited in 2018 with a glowing report from the committee! FCC accredits over 180 Catholic schools located in Florida. Key facets of the program include:

• The focus is on school improvement and accountability

• The rubrics for the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic
Elementary and Secondary Schools are the core of the program

• Each school completes an annual report reviewing the level of compliance
   with each benchmark

• An online system is used for the annual report, self-study, and visitation

• The standards are divided into four domains: Mission and Catholic Identity,
Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Operational Vitality
