MR. RICK MARTIN

PE TEACHER & ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Mr. Martin joined the Saint Ann Community in 2018 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University majoring in Physical Education and Health Education. He has taught PE and Health for grades K-12. His most recent experience is as After School Coordinator for the Guadalupe Center in Immokalee. He has played various sports and has extensive experience in coaching multiple sports.

MRS. MARJORIE HUELSMAN

MUSIC TEACHER FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Mrs. Marjorie Huelsman began her musical experiences at St Ann School in 1999 as general music, choir, and band director. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mansfield University in PA. She taught in Cape Cod and Nantucket areas of MA for 11 years where she was a member of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, the College Light Opera Company, and conducted the Nantucket Community Band. Under her tutelage, the St. Ann Advanced Band has been featured at the Walt Disney World Magic Music Days festival and has received numerous Superior Ratings, and Grand Champion, 1st and 2nd place trophies at the Music USA Festival in Universal Studios. Mrs. Huelsman is a member of the Florida Music Educators Association, the Choristers Guild, and is certified in ORFF Level 1 as well as Music K-12 in Florida, and is an accomplished flutist.

MS. CHRISTINA GRUN

ART TEACHER FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Ms. Christina Grun originally hails from Germany, and joined the Saint Ann Community in 2010 as art teacher. She earned a degree in art and fashion design in Frankfurt, Germany, before relocating to the United States and working for eight years in private education in Naples and earning certification in art education. Ms. Grun is a practicing artist who displays her work in various shows and galleries, including her own Gallery 152, and she is a member of FAEA, the Florida Art Association. At Saint Ann, she organizes artworks for various charity and fundraising projects and art shows for students.

MS. AUDREY SWANTON

SPANISH TEACHER

Ms. Audrey Swanton joined the Saint Ann Community in 2014. She attended the University of Maine where she received a B.A. in French, and a M.A.T. in the teaching of French and Spanish. She also attended the Université de Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France with the Junior Year Abroad program, and has frequently traveled throughout Spain and Mexico. Before coming to St. Ann, she taught Spanish and French for twenty years at John Baptist Memorial High School in Bangor, Maine, where she served as Department Chair of Modern and Classical Languages the last four years of her career there. She has an extensive background in theater both as an actor and as a director in professional and local productions, and has directed shows in both middle and high school.

MRS. SUE MCKENZIE

MEDIA CENTER SPECIALIST/TECHNOLOGY/FLVS

Mrs. Sue McKenzie has been teaching at Saint Ann School since 2000. She has a B.S. from Western Michigan University and a Florida Teacher Certification from FGCU. She also has a Director Credential and is certified to teach the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program (VPK). Mrs. McKenzie is the current 6th and 7th HP Language Arts Teacher, Technology Instructor, Media Center Specialist, and FLVS counselor. Mrs. McKenzie is currently the Student Council Advisor for Saint Ann Middle School Students.

MR. ANDREW CHU

IT DIRECTOR/MIDDLE SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Mr. Andrew Chu is the IT Director/Middle School Technology Teacher for Saint Ann Catholic School. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Management majoring in EDP. He has more than 20 plus years of IT Support and System Administration.

MRS. KRISTIE KEDERIS-MORAN

ELEMENTARY TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Mrs. Kederis-Moran is the owner of Young Engineers of Southwest Florida serving the Greater Naples area.  She is a Seattle native and a Chicago transplant.  Kristie spent most of her early career with the GE corporation and helped launch several mid-size businesses, marketing organizations and tech start-ups.  Through Young Engineers she believes if we teach children to love and appreciate the excitement of science we cannot only create better students, but better citizens and future leaders.
