SPANISH TEACHER 4 - 8

Mrs. Veronique Rowland was born in Paris, France and raised in Colombia.  She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English as well as French.  Her background includes 12 years of Spanish and English instruction at Hodges University.  Veronique attended a Catholic school, graduated with a university degree in Social Communication and Journalism, and completed a M. Ed degree in 2015 from Hodges University.  She is dedicated to the highest quality education and is determined to go the extra mile for her students.  Veronique is looking forward to joining our team and interacting with her students at Saint Ann School.

MRS. MARJORIE HUELSMAN
MRS. MARJORIE HUELSMAN

MUSIC TEACHER FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Mrs. Huelsman began her musical experiences at St Ann School in 1999 as general music, choir, and band director. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mansfield University in PA. She taught in Cape Cod and Nantucket areas of MA for 11 years where she was a member of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, the College Light Opera Company, and conducted the Nantucket Community Band. Under her tutelage, the St. Ann Advanced Band has been featured at the Walt Disney World Magic Music Days festival and has received numerous Superior Ratings, and Grand Champion, 1st and 2nd place trophies at the Music USA Festival in Universal Studios. Mrs. Huelsman is a member of the Florida Music Educators Association, the Choristers Guild, and is certified in ORFF Level 1 as well as Music K-12 in Florida, and is an accomplished flutist.

ART TEACHER FOR ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL

Ms. Grun originally hails from Germany, and joined the Saint Ann Community in 2010 as art teacher. She earned a degree in art and fashion design in Frankfurt, Germany, before relocating to the United States and working for eight years in private education in Naples and earning certification in art education. Ms. Grun is a practicing artist who displays her work in various shows and galleries, including her own Gallery 152, and she is a member of FAEA, the Florida Art Association. At Saint Ann, she organizes artworks for various charity and fundraising projects and art shows for students.
