MS. ANGELA CURRIER
MUSIC AND BAND DIRECTOR
Ms. Angela Currier is the new music and band director at Saint Ann Catholic School. She has a Bachelor of Music from Capital University in music education and a Master of Music from Buffalo State College in music education. Ms. Currier taught general music and instrumental music at the Catholic Academy of West Buffalo for one year. She taught concert band, jazz band, music technology, music theory, choir, orchestra, and Pep band over the course of seven years at Saint John Neumann Catholic High School. Ms. Currier also taught elementary and middle school band at Saint Elizabeth Seton School to assist for half a school year.
MS. MEGAN MCCARTHY
ART TEACHER
Ms. McCarthy was born and raised in Naples Florida. She graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor's degree in Studio Fine Arts. She has devoted her life to her artistic practice and craft in multiple mediums as well as art education. Ms. McCarthy has worked with Artis Naples, Naples Art Institute, and the Children's Museum of Naples in art education before starting at Saint Ann.
MRS. ESTER SEVILLA FRIAS
ELEMENTARY ART AND SPANISH
Mrs. Sevilla Frias joined the Saint Ann Community in 2015 as an early childhood instructional aide. She has a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Barcelona and VPK certification in the State of Florida. She has extensive experience in child care and is bilingual in Spanish and English.
MRS. VERONIQUE ROWLAND
SPANISH TEACHER 3 - 8
Mrs. Veronique Rowland was born in Paris, France and raised in Colombia. She is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English as well as French. Her background includes 12 years of Spanish and English instruction at Hodges University. Veronique attended a Catholic school, graduated with a university degree in Social Communication and Journalism, and completed a M. Ed degree in 2015 from Hodges University. She is dedicated to the highest quality education and is determined to go the extra mile for her students.
MS. BARBARA WENDERSKI
ROBOTICS TEACHER
Ms. Wenderski is a native to Florida. She is a graduate from Southeastern University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Spanish and Religious studies. She also attended Knox Theological Seminary studying theological and classical studies. She worked several years overseas in Buenos Aires, Argentina with youth ministries. Ms. Wenderski has taught first, fourth, and fifth grades in a bilingual classroom setting and is ESOL endorsed. She is also trained in STEAM project-based learning through the district of Collier County.
