MUSIC

Our music curriculum encourages students of all ages to learn about their faith, the world around them, and their own unique God-given musical talents. Elementary students explore music by developing their singing voices and playing a wide range of instruments including recorders, percussion, and Orff instruments (xylophones and glockenspiels). They learn music concepts through movement and music reading activities.
The upper elementary students enjoy showcasing their talents at the
annual Christmas Program and Spring Concert.

BAND

Many students combine musical knowledge and love of music by participating in our performing ensembles. The choir sings their faith
at school and parish Masses. Middle grade students develop their playing and performing skills throughout their middle school years. All sixth graders are part of Beginning Band and learn to play a musical instrument. The Band regularly performs for concerts and school assemblies. The 7th-8th Grade Advanced Band competes each year at the Music USA Festival
on the Universal Orlando® Resort Soundstage. They have consistently received a Superior Rating and First or Second place trophies in the middle school band category, and GRAND CHAMPIONS in both the band and orchestra categories.

DRAMA

Our drama curriculum engages students in all aspects of the performing arts. Methods used encourage students to explore their artistic interests in acting, improvisation, speech, stagecraft, lighting, music, and costuming. Drama productions provide a venue for students to develop and showcase their performance skills on stage as actors and behind the scenes as assistant directors, stage managers, set, costume, and lighting designers. Drama is offered as an afterschool club for grades 4-8.
