Mr. Michael Buskirk is the Principal of Saint Ann Catholic School, joining the faith community in 2019-2020. Most recently, Mr. Buskirk lived in Missouri for seven years where he worked for the Diocese of Jefferson City as a Math teacher and Principal. Prior to Missouri, he lived in Jacksonville Beach, Florida where he taught high school Science, and coached for Clay County schools. Mr. Buskirk started his education career in 2001 for Broward County schools as a high school Science teacher, soccer, and golf coach. He grew up in southwest Philadelphia, attended West Catholic High School, and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science where he received a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a teacher certificate. While in Missouri Mr. Buskirk obtained a master’s and specialist degree in Education Leadership with Superintendent certification from the University of Missouri. He has achieved many accolades over the years most notably the Jacksonville Suns outstanding teacher award, and his previous school St. Francis Xavier was named best school in Jefferson City two years in a row under his leadership.
