Ms. Donahue holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University, an M.S. Ed in Reading and Literacy, and a Certificate in Child Development. Additional trainings and certifications include: Middle Grades English, Clinical Educator Training, Professional Mentoring Program, Visualizing and Verbalizing, Spalding Phonics, Fountas and Pinnell Guided Reading, and Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator. Ms. Donahue is currently enrolled in the Step Up for Students Choice Leader of Excellence Program in the Diocese of Venice as well as Avila Institute School for Spiritual Formation and Pastoral Counseling. She joined the Saint Ann Community in 2015 teaching Middle School English and Literature. Ms. Donahue has taught for 15 years in the traditional classroom setting and online, from Kindergarten - 11th grade. She gives piano and guitar lessons and leads our Ukulele Club! She has been a proud parent of her own Saint Ann students for 8 years now.
