SOCIAL STUDIES

The Social Studies curriculum equips our students with the skills needed
to become well informed, responsible, and contributing members of society. By studying history, geography, government, politics, economics, social science and culture, our students develop an appreciation of the past, an understanding of the present, and a commitment to building a better future.

Our students are nurtured and encouraged to live productive and fulfilling lives as participatory members of their local, national, and global communities. Through their study students learn civic responsibility and appreciation for our country's freedoms. They learn about the various racial/ethnic groups and their contributions to society. They come to value human life, seek justice, pursue peace, and care for God’s creation.
