MEET OUR MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS

MRS. LARA BUTRUM

MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH TEACHER

Mrs. Lara Butrum teaches middle school mathematics grade 6th-8th. Previously, she worked as a middle school teaching assistant in a private school setting while pursuing her teaching certification in math. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Coastal Carolina University and worked many years as a financial analyst/accountant for several large firms. She was born in France, moved to New York after five years and has lived in the Naples area for the past 32 years.

MS. SHEILA DIMARCO

MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE

Ms. DiMarco is originally from Stone Harbor, NJ. She graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, then earned an additional Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with teacher certification from Stockton University. She began her teaching career in 1997 teaching third and fourth grade in a self-contained class then sixth, seventh and eighth grade Science. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Scientific Foundations and Educational Technology from the Teachers College at Columbia University in New York. She then taught Science and financial literacy for 12 years to at-risk students in Cape May, NJ. Ms. DiMarco is certified in both New Jersey and Florida in General Science 5-9, Business Education 6-12, Elementary Education K-6, and Social Science 6-12.

MRS. KIM MCQUEEN

MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES

Mrs. McQueen is originally from New Jersey, but resided in Tennessee for 25 years prior to relocating to Florida. She studied at the University of Mississippi and Crichton College receiving her BA degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Social Studies and English. Mrs. McQueen is licensed in Tennessee to teach all subjects K - 8, and taught American History, Geography, Language Arts, Literature and Religion for 10 years at St. Francis Catholic School in Cordova, TN. She received her Florida certification in 5-9 Language Art and 5-9 Social Science, and taught middle school Language Arts in the Collier County school system for one year. She joined the Saint Ann Community in 2015 and teaches Middle School Social Studies, 7th grade Religion, and 8th grade Language Arts and Literature.

MRS. NATALIE DONAHUE

MIDDLE SCHOOL HONORS LANGUAGE ARTS

Mrs. Donahue holds a BS in Education from Eastern Michigan University, an MSEd in Reading and Literacy, and a Certificate in Child Development. She joined the Saint Ann Community in 2015 teaching Middle School Language Arts and Literature. She is a returning teacher having taught Kindergarten at Saint Ann in 2005.

MRS. SUE MCKENZIE

MIDDLE SCHOOL HP LANGUAGE ARTS 6 & 7

Mrs. Sue McKenzie has been teaching at Saint Ann School since 2000. She has a B.S. from Western Michigan University and a Florida Teacher Certification from FGCU. She also has a Director Credential and is certified to teach the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten program (VPK). Mrs. McKenzie is the current 6th and 7th HP Language Arts Teacher, 6th Religion, Media Center Specialist, and FLVS counselor. Mrs. McKenzie is currently the Student Council Advisor for Saint Ann Middle School Students.
